It’s very rare that you find someone like Alex, who is the absolute top of their game, successful and driven but wants everyone they meet to succeed and bolsters them to be able to do so. Her ability to quickly recognise a candidates strengths, careers aims and personality allows her to identify roles where they will grow and thrive- benefiting the candidate’s career development as well as the firm they are placed in.
I first met Alex in 2009 when she placed me in the CEO’s office of a leading, global Investment Bank. At 23 and relatively new to the City, her guidance and support through the recruitment process, and beyond, allowed me to flourish in a difficult market. Her understanding of the intricacies of the industry I was entering allowed an insight I would never have had that made the interview process much less scary! The respect that the consultants interviewing me had for Alex showed me I was in safe hands. Alex checked in and guided me through every step of the way and beyond. Her unwavering support and ‘always there’ attitude means that Alex becomes a friend and not just a recruiter.
I have counted on Alex’s insight and advice throughout my career; one of her biggest strengths is her ability to make you comfortable and confident in your own ability. Once Alex has taken you under her wing, you pretty much want to stay there!
